Who we are
DeCloser is a sales and commission assistant for real estate agents, operated by DeCloser. You can reach us at support@decloser.com.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone:
- your own profile (name, company, license number, phone, email, photo and logo);
- your clients (names, phone numbers, email, notes, photos, ID and CIF pictures, interactions);
- projects, units, sales, milestones and commission records;
- calendar events and reminders;
- your settings (language, currency, exchange rates you enter, default commission and appearance).
We do not receive any of this. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export or share it, as described below.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no sign-in and no server of ours. It contains no advertising, no analytics tools and no third-party tracking.
Permissions the app asks for
- Camera and photo library: only when you add a photo to a profile or a picture to a client's documents. Pictures you pick are copied into the app's storage.
- Face ID, fingerprint or passcode: only if you turn on App lock. Your phone checks your identity; the app only receives a yes or no and never sees biometric data.
- Notifications: for calendar alerts and the optional 8:00 morning quote. These are created on your phone; no push server is involved.
Things you can choose to share
- Backup file: "Back up my data" creates a file containing all the information above, including pictures. It is handed to your phone's share sheet, and you choose where it goes (Files, iCloud Drive, email, AirDrop). From then on it is under your control and that service's terms. Anyone who gets the file can read it, so keep it somewhere safe.
- Your contact card: "Share my details" shows a QR code (or text) with the name, company, license number, phone and email from your profile. It only contains what you put in your profile.
- Calling, messaging, WhatsApp and email: these buttons open the phone's own apps. What happens next is governed by those apps' policies.
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties. If you install the app through Apple's TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect usage and crash information according to your device settings and Apple's privacy policy. We do not control that.
Security
Your data is protected by your phone's own security and, if you enable it, App lock. You can also hide commission amounts on screen with the eye button. Because the data is on your phone, keep your phone locked and updated, and protect backup files.
Keeping and deleting data
Data stays on your phone until you delete it. Deleting the app deletes its data. Backup files you saved elsewhere are not deleted automatically; remove them yourself.
Information about your own clients
When you store a client's details, including identity documents, you decide what to keep and why. Make sure you have the client's permission and follow the data protection rules that apply where you work. We never see this information.
Children
DeCloser is for working adults and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is handled, we will tell you in the app.
